Mortgages in Costa Rica

When purchasing a property in Costa Rica you may decide to arrange a mortgage in order to finance the purchase.    Here at Atlas International we can assist you in arranging this via one of the banks in Costa Rica.   Mortgage offers are available up to 50%-70% of the purchase price depending on location at an interest rate of between 10%-12% and can be fixed for up to a maximum of 30 years (exceptions apply at the bank’s discretion). 
To apply for a mortgage you will need:-

If employed;

1. Bank reference
2. Last 6 month’s  bank statements and payslips.
3. Last P60
4. Passport

If self-employed:

1. 12 months’ business account statements
2. Last 3 tax statements
3. Last 6 months’ bank statements
4. Passport
