There is a wide range of quality healthcare facilities and although all foreign residents have to pay for medical treatment, the service fees are significantly lower than European countries. There are also reciprocal private health plans available from the UK which will be accepted in private hospitals. A health insurance plan in Turkey is available up to the age of 55 years.

There are a number of both private and state hospitals in Turkey, particularly in the Bodrum region. The Universal hospital on the outskirts of Gumbet is one of the largest and most finest private hospitals in the region. All the private hospitals in Turkey are English speaking and with dentistry available at a fraction of the cost compared to the UK, what more could you ask for?
