Besides all the history and natural beauty of the peninsula, it is easy to find some of the best restaurants, bars and clubs in Turkey or possibly the best night life in any coastal resort. A must in Bodrum is having fresh fish and raki (the national drink), with lots of “meze” (local appetizers similar to tapas) in a sunset background at a traditional waterfront fish restaurant.
