When buying a property in the Greek Islands, you may need to arrange a Euro mortgage to finance the purchase. Here at Atlas International we can help you arrange this through one of the many banks we use.
Greek banks are able to offer a mortgage of up to 70% for those wishing to purchase a property in the Greek islands. The mortgages are available at rates starting from 4.5% pa.
In order to apply for a mortgage via us here at Atlas, the bank will require the following:
If Employed
* Bank reference
* Last six months bank statements
* Proof of income, P60 and 3 months payslips
If Self Employed
* 12 months business account statements
* 3 years audited accounts
* 6 months personal bank statements
If you have established your budget for your Greek property, then Atlas can help arrange for a mortgage agreed in principle before you go to Greece on one of our inspection trips.
You will be required to pay the first 30% of your property purchase price and then the mortgage will cover the remaining payments.
