Turkey is located in South Eastern Europe and South Western Asia; this is home to the city of Istanbul, the only city in the world in two different continents. From this alone, it tells you that this place is something a little bit special and away from the norm. One of the highest points here is Mount Ararat (5,166m), of course with its famous legendary tale. Turkey borders eight different countries and has a coastline of 7,200km. One of a number of interesting facts about Turkey is that it is actually bigger than Texas, USA. This gives you some idea of how vast this country is.

Turkey is renowned for its fine art, long varied history and wonderful natural surrounds. The different regions of Turkey offer something for everybody, from a browse in one of the many market squares to reef diving off the stunning coastline.  Each area in this historical land has its own personality, landscape and fine cuisine and it is little wonder that one visit to Turkey is never enough.

Turkey is surrounded by four different seas, these include the Mediterranean, Aegean, Black and Marmara sea. It is paradise for all beach lovers with over 700k kilometres of golden coastline to relax and enjoy. It has an abundance of flauna and flora and with the many national wildlife parks dotted around the country there is always something to see whatever the season.

This beautiful country is home to more than 20 different civilisations and boasts a 10,000 year old heritage, with much of it still remaining undiscovered. The rich history to be found here still plays a very important role in the present with its numerous temples, ancient theatres, churches, mosques, tombs, statues of ancient gods, museums and the many gloriously detailed palaces and fortresses that were once home to some of the most powerful beings in the world. Here there is a fine mix of history and also a modern lively ambience. Many areas have a contemporary society that lives between modern and tradition, an ideal mix for many.

It has many airports that are frequently used by many of the big airlines and the main ones that are going to be used are Bodrum and Izmir. These have both recently been redesigned and developed and now have excellent facilities that match any other European airport, a big plus from an investment angle.
