Bringing your pet to Turkey is fine as long as you carry the live animal health and vaccination certificate with you on your journey across. The certificate must be issued no more than ten days before departure. These documents do not need to be legalised by the Turkish Consulate General as long as you accompany your pets across to Turkey.
There is a legal limitation in Turkey that only allows a certain number of pets to be brought into the country. For one person the allowance is to bring one cat, one dog or one bird and a maximum of ten aquarium fish. For any other pets please consult our offices for further information. A way around this though is to have a group of you go over there and then you can take most/all of your pets at the same time.
