Gizzeria is a commune and town in the province of Catanzaro in the Calabria region of Italy. As of 2007 Gizzeria had an estimated population of 3,790.
Gizzeria offers, flowering vegetation with hills, valleys, olive groves, vineyards and trees growing on a soil suited to almost all the fields cultivation, from the chestnut to the olive and orange trees.
This is a diverse area offering the sea and the mountains: sun in the summer and snow in the winter.
The area presents a fresh water lake called "Vota" situated very close to the sea. It is also a crossroads of different cultures.
