Atlas International Reveals Stunning New Grecian Property

The leading overseas property specialist, Atlas International is delighted to launch a new range of beautiful detached villas in Monolithos, Santorini.

Set amongst the tranquil countryside and coastline of the Monolithos region, Charissa offers a rare timelessness. The unique properties are distinctly Grecian in design, with their crisp white façade and bold structure. The curved porch is a particularly refined feature enhancing the grandeur and sense of space.

The villas were built using predominantly local materials. Based on two levels they have a roof terrace for dining al fresco. There are matching blue painted doors and blue window panes emphasising their unique Mediterranean character. The properties are available with two or three bedrooms, with one or two bathrooms. Situated amongst a landscaped garden the properties have the option of a private swimming pool.

The local village square of Kamari is a short walk away from the property. There is a traditional Greek fishing harbour, producing delicious fresh seafood, available at the local tavernas and restaurants. There are many sites of interest to visit including the old tomato factory and Ancient Thira. The exquisite Kamari beach is famed for its black sand.

The island of Santorini itself is as visually beautiful as it is culturally captivating. Being the site of what was possibly the world's largest volcanic eruption of all time, the caldera annually draws intrigued crowds from all over the world; it is even possible to enjoy breakfast at the edge of the caldera. The strong indigenous wines are a renowned feature, with Vino Santo (the sweet red Vissanto) and White Nikteri (made from grapes picked before dawn) being popular amongst visitors. Other sites of interest include the excavation site in Akrotiri and the islets of New & Old Kammeni, with their black lava rocks and warm sulphur water all year round. The sculptured rocks at Vlyhada and the houses cut into the rocks at Ia adding to the exquisite landscape and distinctive vernacular architecture of Santorini.

Atlas International’s Sales Manager James Dearsley adds: “Charissa is a unique prospect. It encapsulates the essence of Greek architecture within a beautiful setting. The Charissa are classically Grecian with an emphasis on comfort and homeliness. It is more than a mere property; it is a chance for anyone wanting to absorb true Greek culture.”
Prices starts from £122,000 /€185.700€ for two bedrooms.
