Akbuk is located 70 kilometres from Bodrum airport and just 18 kilometres from the resorts of Didim and Altinkum. This is an ideal location as it is situated in the centre of Turkey’s favourite coastline. It is a perfect holiday destination set in a stunning natural environment close to the sea. The local area has a number of protected forests which offer great walks or wildlife opportunities.
The beaches here are clean and there are many small bays that are just waiting to be explored. The climate here is warm but in the bays it can be breezy, this however is ideal to cool you down from the roasting sun in the summer months. Here, there are a number of areas that remained unspoilt by the tourist industry and there are now a growing number of restaurants and cafes offering traditional cuisine in comfortable and idyllic surroundings.
