Las Vegas is known for its bright lights, numerous casinos and many entertainment facilities given it the title of 'The Entertainment Capital of the World.'
The city is most famously known for The Strip, a four mile stretch of road filled with shops, bars, casinos, hotels and even a roller coaster or two. The Strip contains 18 of the worlds largest hotels all of which have their own individual themes and attractions.
Las Vegas incorporates many neighbouring cities all near to the city centre. Boulder City is 20 miles away and has two gold courses, mountain hiking trails and is only a few miles away from Lake Mead a 550 mile long reacreation lake.
Henderson is only seven miles away from the city and contains numerous points of interest including museums, ranches, botanical gardens and viewing preserves.
